Make sure your floor installers measure the moisture content of your boards before they are placed in your home. Your installers should also check the relative humidity of your home, and ask you questions about whether your air conditioning system is currently operating.

Subfloor Preparation

If your flooring installers don’t properly prepare the subfloor, you could end up with floors that are squeaky, loose, or cause your furniture to shake when you walk on them.
